When you purchase something from Em’s Emporium, we collect the personal information you provide such as your name, address and email address in order to complete the transaction and despatch the item to yourself.

SECTION 4 – STRIPE

Our online shop is hosted on Stripe which is an online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.


Your data is stored through Stripe’s data storage, databases and the general Stripe application. Your data is held on a secure server behind a firewall.

When making a payment through the Stripe payment gateway, your credit card data will be stored by Stripe. This data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.


All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council.


PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by Em’s Emporium and our service providers.
